From the Headmaster
Established in 1976, Another Course to College (ACC) holds intellectual curiosity, depth of knowledge, analytical thinking, reading, and writing as our core values to prepare students for college and post-secondary success. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for students to develop their love of learning and sense of global citizenship.
We are a diverse and inclusive community of learners. We combine academic rigor with social emotional learning, the arts, and technology through the following pillars:
an active parent council and governing board that engages and partners with our community
constructivist and personalized learning to increase student voice and choice
authentic teacher leadership leading to strong curriculum and pedagogy
a track record of success on state tests and graduation rates, winning America’s Best High Schools in 2017 and 2018
a robust offering of electives in the arts, athletics, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses
extracurricular activities such as robotics, debate, national honor society, and service learning
