Community Day!

On Friday, October 9th, ACC staff, students, and local community members celebrated the beginning of the school year and encouraged positive relationships between its members at their 2nd Annual ACC Community Day event.

This event also encouraged students to think of school as a place where both academic and non-academic talents are celebrated, as they both enhance the lives of our students and their communities.  It also helped students know that the ACC faculty see them as whole people, not just students in the classroom. Additionally, events like Community Day build community relationships such as those between students and the police officers and fireman who also inhabit our larger ACC community and also attended this event.

We are happy to say that the 2nd Annual ACC Community Day reached its goal of successfully promoting this sense of community and unity between ACC and in the Brighton Community members we live with.
